Services Description
The City Flue Services offers chimney sweep, inspection, repair, and maintenance services across Fairfield, Southport, Westport, Easton, South Norwalk, and surrounding areas. Our services adhere to industry standards and comply with codes established by the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
User Responsibilities
As a user, you are responsible for providing accurate information regarding the condition and accessibility of your chimney. You must ensure that the area surrounding the chimney is safe and accessible for our technicians. Failure to provide such conditions may result in rescheduling or additional fees.
Scheduling & Cancellation
To schedule a service, contact us through our website or by phone. Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the scheduled service.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. Invoices must be paid within 30 days unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Late payments may incur interest charges at a rate not exceeding the maximum allowed by Connecticut law.
Warranties & Guarantees
The City Flue Services guarantees that all services will be performed in a professional manner consistent with industry standards. Any materials and products installed are warranted according to the manufacturer’s terms. We do not warrant services against damage caused by external forces beyond our control.
Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall The City Flue Services be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability for any claims related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for those services.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The City Flue Services, its employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising under these terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Parties agree to resolve disputes through mediation before seeking resolution in court. All legal proceedings shall be conducted in Fairfield County, CT.
Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and logos of The City Flue Services are the intellectual property of The City Flue Services. Unauthorized use of any such intellectual property is prohibited unless expressly permitted by us.
Modifications
The City Flue Services reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our services after any modifications indicates acceptance of the new terms.
